Obstetric Care

At Fall River Family Medicine, we provide care for the entire family, and that includes offering comprehensive OBGYN and women's health services. Obstetrics and gynecology are an important part of women's health, so we have members on our team that specialize in just that. 

Dr. Nordmann emphasized in obstetrics and gynecology services during her residency training in addition to full spectrum family care. She has delivery and C-section privileges at Madison Memorial Hospital. She is the only female physician providing delivery care in Rexburg, ID.

Our ISU Family Medicine Residents also offer prenatal care and delivery at Madison Memorial Hospital with oversight from Dr. Nordmann or our amazing community physicians.

• We take call for our own patients, which means the person you see for your prenatal care is who will deliver your baby in most circumstances
• Priority scheduling for expecting and new mothers and babies
• Bedside ultrasound machine allows you to see images and video of your baby at many appointments
• Dedicated time to talk through your birth plan and concerns. We want you to feel confident and know all of your options. We are here to support your decisions. 
• Routine lab work is completed in house during your appointments
• Your baby can keep your same doctor! Or choose from one of our great family physicians in house
• Create a lasting relationship with your hometown doctors to meet your whole family’s needs under one roof

Gynecology

All of our physicians offer gynecology care to women of all ages. Whether it is a regular wellness visit, mental health, birth control, sexual health, cancer screenings, or anything in between – we look forward to listening to you and getting you the care that you need. 

Our women's health services include (but are not limited to):

• Well women visits and care including cancer screenings
• Obstetrics/pregnancy care
• Infertility workup and management
• Menstrual cycle concerns such as missed periods, PCOS, endometriosis, or heavy bleeding
• Birth control management: temporary, permanent, and non-hormonal options
• Menopause: we help you transition through menopause and beyond. This can include hormone replacement therapy if appropriate.
• Pelvic pain management
• Weight loss
• Incontinence, uterine prolapse and pessary placements
• Depression/mental health
• And because we also do regular family practice care, we can manage any of your other conditions at the same time such as hypertension, hypothyroidism, diabetes, etc. We love being able to care for your body and mind as a whole.
